Hurricane Preparedness
Remember, when a hurricane threatens, the most important thing you can do is to follow emergency management instructions in your area. Protecting your possessions is important, but it’s most important to get yourself and your family to safe shelter before the storm hits.
Plan ahead – proper hurricane planning begins long before hurricane season (June 1st through November 30th). Help ensure your family’s safety by creating a disaster preparedness plan that includes a disaster survival kit and an emergency evacuation plan.
